Second Rodeo Brewing Summer Saison $5/$18
Saison beers originated in the early 1700s by French speaking Belgium farmers. It was brewed in late winter/early spring as a lighter beer to refresh with after a hard day's work in the field.
Second Rodeo “Summer Saison” is brewed with Pale Malt, a very small amount of Wheat and Caramel Malt.
This beer was fermenting and aged for almost 2 month and features fruity aromas as with a dry soil-like finish. European hops like Saaze and Hersbrucker are used to add a spice and peppery tone. It has an alc/vol of 4.5% and Saison beer is also known to be a little on the tarter/dryer side.
